It is known from the information received from the office of Director General of Police (Training), Jharkhand, Ranchi that the above office invites applications for filling up the vacant posts in all the four CIATS (Counter Insurgency & Anti Terrorist School) schools in the state of Jharkhand. Applications are invited from the retired (JCO and Havildar) from the army.
After selection and medical examination, retired soldiers will be appointed to the posts of senior instructors and instructors. Selected candidates will be posted in CIATS schools located in Latehar, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, and Ranchi districts.

In addition to the monthly remuneration, a fixed amount of ₹ 1500 per annum will be offered as uniform allowances.
Essential qualification (age, medical condition, character and course)
The maximum age limit at the time of appointment was fixed for each post as follows.

Medical Category – The candidate must have Medical Category SHAPE-1 or AYA-1 at the time of retirement. The selected candidates will be medically examined before the appointment. The candidate will be forwarded to the next process only after he/she is found fully eligible after scrutiny.
Character Status – The conduct status of the candidate at the time of retirement must be EXEMPLARY/VERY GOOD and not more than one red ink should be marked in the discharge book.
Course – Candidates wishing to apply for Senior Instructor posts must have completed Platoon Commander Course with B/BY grade in any one of the following. Conversely, candidates applying for the post of Instructor must have successfully completed any one of these courses.
(i) Commando Course / NSG Commando
(ii) Counter-Insurgency Cars
(ii) Platoon Weapon Course
(iv) PT course
(v) P.C. Course
(vi) F.E. Course
