Result Card: BSEB STET 2023 – Bihar Secondary & Higher Secondary School Teacher.

Bihar School Examination Board is instructed to conduct a Teacher Eligibility Test for Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools and so the board has released the BSEB STET 2023 PDF notification in this regard.

Merit lists will be prepared on the basis of normalized scores scored by the candidates who will appear in the eligibility test and candidates who are to be selected will be placed in Secondary or Senior Secondary Schools in Bihar.

Indian citizens who meet the eligibility criteria can register, fill out, and submit the prescribed online application by August 23, 2023. All potential applicants are requested to apply much earlier than the closing date.

Eligibility Criteria Required for BSEB STET 2023

Qualification

Paper- I

• General Subject –
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the BSEB STET 2023 for the Teacher posts in specified general subjects must have a Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in one of the specified subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • They must have also a B. Ed degree from the National Teacher Education Council recognized institution.
• Physical Education-
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Teacher posts in Physical Education subject must have a Graduate Degree in Physical Education subject as an optional subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Music –
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Teacher posts in Music subject must have a Graduate Degree in Music subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Fine Arts –
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Teacher posts in Fine Arts subject must have a Graduate Degree in Fine Arts subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Dance-
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Teacher posts in Dance subject must have a Graduate Degree in Dance subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Special School Teacher-
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Special School Teacher posts must have a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 50% marks from an institution recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Paper- II

• General Subject –
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the BSEB STET 2023 for the Teacher posts in specified general subjects must have a Postgraduate Degree in one of the specified subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
  • They must have also a B. Ed degree from the National Teacher Education Council recognized institution. or
  • A qualification specified in respect of the said position.
• Commerce Subject-
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Teacher posts in Commerce subject must have a Postgraduate Degree in Commerce subject as an optional subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Agriculture-
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Teacher posts in Agriculture subject must have a Graduate and Postgraduate Degree in Agronomy/Plant Breeding & Genetics/Entomology or as specified in PDF with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Music –
  • Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the above-mentioned eligibility test for the Teacher posts in Music subject must have a Postgraduate Degree in Music subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.

BSEB STET 2023 Category-wise Age Limit & Relaxation

Trained candidates of all categories will get 10 years of relaxation at their upper age.

Applicants belonging to the Divyang category will get up to 10 years of age relaxation, excluding their respective category-wise relaxation.

Ex-servicemen who want to join the above position will get relaxation up to the period of service rendered in the defense forces plus up to 3 years.

Examination Fee & Remittance Details

The Bihar School Examination Board has got a payment gateway integrated for accepting examination fees online. 

The applicants will have to bear the convenience fee imposed by the respective bank for making available the service of online payment. The convenience charge will be added to the application fee.

A sum amount of examination fee and Bank charges will be deducted from the bank account of applicants of which either credit card, debit card, or internet banking details are to be provided. 

Applicants must keep their things before heading up to the application process as proof of documents, card or internet banking details, etc.

How BSEB STET 2023 Merit List will be Prepared?

Computer-Based Test- Candidates who have applied or decided to apply for BESB STET 2023 will have to appear at the Computer-Based Examination. The nature of the test will be objective type of 2:30 hours period.

• There is no negative marking.
• The candidate will get one mark for every correct answer to a question.

What Documents Have to be Produced Before the BSEB STET Selection Process?

All applicants who will pass the Computer-Based Examination and call for the interview round will have to produce a copy of the following documents at the time of document verification before the commission or the department.

• Matriculation Certificate/Mark Sheet as proof of date of birth.
• Intermediate Certificate/Mark Sheet.
