BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2022 – 208 Vacancies

Bihar Public Service Commission published detailed guidelines on its official website on September 8, 2022, for the appointment of Assistant Professor in Government Engineering Colleges.

The commission has prepared this guideline on the basis of the letter received from the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar. According to the letter received from the department, a total of 208 posts are invited for regular appointments.

The Commission in its detailed guideline has clearly mentioned all the criteria for eligibility as well as the procedure to apply for this post and the scheduled dates.

The process of application has been set online and its process is scheduled from 9th September to 28th September 2022.

Educational Qualification Required for Assistant Professor Position

Any Indian citizen willing to participate in the selection Examination for the Assistant Professor post must have passed any one of the following degrees from a recognized institution/university.

B.E/B.Tech/B.S/B.Sc (Eneg.) and M.E/M.Tech/M.S or integrated M.Tech in Computer science and Engg. 

The applicant for the above degree must secure at least a first-class or equivalent score.

Application Fee Along with Remittance Details

The Bihar Public Service Commission has got integrated a payment gateway to accept intimation charges and application fees. 

The respective bank will charge a convenience fee to make Convenient the payment process. The sum amount will be detected from the bank account.

The sum amount of the examination fee and Bank charges will be detected whenever an applicant provides their required payment details and authenticate after filling up the online application form.

The bank payment gateway will accept fees through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking, and more options are available on the payment page. 

Age Limit & Relaxation Details

Indian citizens interested in the post of Assistant Professor must have attained the minimum age of 22 years as on 1st August 2022 and no upper age limit has been fixed.

Whereas the maximum age limit for retired is 65 years.
