Qualification Details.

I. Category -Graduate Apprentices:

A candidate should have an Engineering Degree in any of the above-mentioned disciplines with a minimum of 6.3 CGPA marks from a recognized university.

For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum mark is relaxed to 5.3 CGPA.

II. Category -Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

A candidate should have a Diploma in any of the above-mentioned disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks from a State Technical Board/University recognized institution.

For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum mark is relaxed to 50%.

Duration of training –

As per the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973, the duration of the above apprenticeship training is for a period of one year.
