Paper- I
- Indian citizens willing to participate in the Bihar Special School TET 2023 to be a teacher of class 1 to 5 subjects must have passed Higher Secondary in the specified subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university/council.
- They must also have a Dl. Ed degree or its equivalent from the Rehabilitation Council of India recognized institution with a valid CRR No.. or
- Such applicants must have 6 months of teaching as training in the differential disability area.
Paper- II
- General Subject –
- Indian citizens willing to participate in the Bihar Special School TET 2023 to be a teacher of class 6 to 8 subjects must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the specified subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
- They must also have a B. Ed degree or its equivalent from the Rehabilitation Council of India recognized institution with a valid CRR No.. or
- Such applicants must have 6 months of teaching as training in the differential disability area.

Candidates appointed as teachers by Panchayati Raj Institution and Municipal Body and full the eligibility criteria for Bihar Special School TET 2023 have no upper age limit.
Applicants belonging to the Divyang category will get up to 10 years of age relaxation, excluding their respective category-wise relaxation.
Ex-servicemen who want to join the above position will get relaxation up to the period of service rendered in the defence forces plus up to 3 years.
