Bihar Judicial Service Examination 2023: The Department of General Administration, Bihar has issued two letters having number 1017, dated – 13.01.2023, and letter number 2561 dated – 07.02.2023 for engaging 155 Civil Judge (Junior).
The number of Civil Judge vacancies could be changed depending on the future decree of the Honorable Court. Category-wise vacancy details have been tabulated further in a paragraph.
BPSC has decided to conduct the 32nd Bihar Judicial Service Examination on receiving the above-mentioned two letters from the General Administration Department Bihar.
Details have been asked from the willing Indian citizens in the prescribed online application and will have to be filled up by 27th March 2023.

Bihar Public Service Commission has not included details of the pay scale of candidates to be selected under the 32nd Bihar Judicial Service Examination. It appears, the department has not disclosed details in this regard.

Bihar Public Service Commission will follow the Bihar Civil Service Recruitment Rules, 1955. The commission will also follow the rules for the relaxation of the upper age of special categories of candidates such as SC, ST, OBC, and others.
Note – The upper age of retirement for Judicial Officers is set to 60 years.
Required Education Qualification for Bihar Judicial Service Examination 2023
A candidate willing to participate in the BPSC Judicial Service Examination 2023 must have one of the following qualifications.
- The applicant must have passed the Graduate Degree in Law from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi: or
- Pass the equivalent examination.

The BPSC has got integrated an e-payment gateway along with the prescribed online application form to facilitate online payment service during the filling up.
The integrated payment gateway will facilitate online payment services. Applicants can remit the application fees using either a Credit Card or a Debit Card or Internet Banking services.
The examination fee will not be refunded in any circumstances, once paid. No other mode of payment is acceptable.
